Create energy-efficient and sustainable buildings with the installation of fire rated access doors. This special building material enhances both functionality and security in facilities they are installed. For accessing ceiling crawl spaces, use Access Doors Canada’s fire rated upward opening, downward opening, and downward opening with drywall flange from Acudor.

Approved for use in walls and ceilings, our insulated FW-5050 has an Underwriters Laboratories (UL and ULC), 1-1/2 hour "B" label, with a maximum temperature rise of 250 degrees after 30 minutes. This model should be used in walls when temperature rise or heat transmission is a factor. For fire rated ceilings, this door has been approved by Warnock Hersey International for 3 hours (max. size to 24" x 36").

It can be equipped with 1 x Universal self-latching bolt, operated by either a knurled knob or flush key. When master keying is required, doors can be prepared for rim or mortise cylinder locks

Wherever it is necessary to provide service access to shafts and any other location which must have a fire rating, choose our best-selling fire rated standard insulated access door with flange from William Brothers. WB-FRS features a fully concealed, pivot rod type hinge and allows an opening to 140°.

For drywall surfaces, choose from either our MPFR-DW fire rated access door approved by Underwriters Laboratories Inc., for 1 ½ hours, “B” label in walls and Warnock Hersey for 2 hours in ceilings and 3 hours in walls; and our trimless appearance WB-FR doors.
