What you need to know about the ADC-S-50VMTB is it has a curb with apron. It’s 11 ga. Aluminum and the corners are fully welded. The cover is an 11 ga. Aluminum while the cover liner is an 18 ga. Aluminum. To ensure no air or water penetrates the roof hatch, an EDPM gasket is all around the cover. A pintle hinge - stainless steel type 316 gives the hatch a smooth opening. To further ensure a smoother opening, there’s a lifting mechanism with reinforced composite tubes and compression springs.
