If you want to avoid damaging the roof’s base flashing while still providing a permanent means of fall protection for roof hatch openings, we recommend the ADC-RL2-E Ladder Access Roof Hatch Safety Railing System Type E.
With this product, you won’t need to drill into the curb or apply heavy iron bases on the completed roof system. This railing system comes with 1¼” schedule 40 pipes in 6061 T6 aluminum alloy rails and aluminum post supports. It also features corner brackets, stainless steel spring hinges, and a cast aluminum gate latch with a stainless steel pin. Moreover, it has a 3” frame opening and a safety yellow powder coat finish.
The top of the rail is to be set 42” above the roof surface or deck The ADC-RL2-E is an ideal hatch rail system for ladder access roof hatches or openings where small pieces of equipment are for installation. It also comes with a self-closing gate.
