Ensure that water or other liquids won't enter access openings in exterior applications with our ADC-J-AL Aluminum Drainage Floor Door! This access door consists of a channel frame and corrosion-resistant materials to ensure that it will be trouble-free for a long time.
This door model has a 1/4" aluminum cover and an extruded aluminum channel frame with bend down anchor tabs around the perimeter. It also comes with a 1-1/2" (38mm) drain coupling, welded under the frame for a pipe connection to a dry well or disposal system. Its cover has a diamond-pattern tread plate reinforced for 300 psf (1464 kg/m2) live load. Moreover, the ADC-J-AL has heavy-duty construction and a positive latching mechanism to prevent unauthorized access.
For easy one-hand door operation, this door unit also features engineered lift assistance. You can also ensure safe egress with the door's automatic hold-open arm that locks the open position's cover. Lastly, this drainage floor door has a mill finish aluminum with a bituminous coating applied to the frame's exterior.
