48" x 48" Aluminum Lumivent Daylighting Smoke Vent
Suppose you're looking to get all the security and value of an automatic smoke vent with added skylight benefits. In that case, our ADC-LV Aluminum Lumivent Daylighting Smoke Vent is highly-recommended.
The cover and frame material is 11 gauge aluminum, and the covers come with a translucent multi-wall polycarbonate sheet framed with hard extruded aluminum and coated for UV resistance.
This smoke vent's gasket is a dual durometer, co-extruded, EPDM rubber gasket mechanically fixed to the top of the curb. The hinges are also heavy-duty stainless steel pintles with 3/8" Type 316 stainless steel hinge pins. It also features a hold release mechanism controlled by a single UL-listed 165°F fusible link with a different latching point for each cover for the latch.There are also interior and exterior pull release cables for people to manually open vent covers. It only comes in a mill finish.
In aluminum construction and several UL-listed standard sizes, you can now take advantage of Lumivent's multi-wall polycarbonate cover design that resists UV degradation while offering superior insulation performance over traditional domes.

Operation: High performance gas springs open covers automatically against a 10 psf (49 kg/m2) snow/wind load when released. Gas springs have integral dampers to assure a controlled rate of cover opening and have a cyclic durability of 50,000 cycles. Automatic hold-open arms lock each cover in the full open position.
Performance Rating : UL-listed. Covers with 4:12 slope to comply with International Building Code Requirements (2018 IBC 2610.3)
