If you want a steel drainage floor door in double-leaf construction, we recommend the ADC-JD Steel Double Leaf Drainage Floor Door.
This door assembly comes in stainless steel construction for highly-corrosive environments. For the specifications, the cover and frame are 1/4” steel. We also offer optional Type 304 or Type 316 stainless steel construction, depending on the requirements that you have to meet.
It features a formed channel frame with a full anchor angle welded all around the perimeter. The frame also has a 1-1/2” drain coupling welded securely under the And for the cover, it has a diamond-pattern trade plate reinforced for 300 psf live load.
The latch is a Type 316 stainless steel, and the hinges are heavy forged brass with 3/8” Type 316 stainless steel hinge pins. This door model comes with a positive latching mechanism and heavy forged brass hinges with Type 316 stainless steel hinge pins to prevent unauthorized access.
Available in red oxide primer finish and with engineered lift assistance for easy one-hand operation. Choose from a selection of available standard double leaf and special sizes to meet your unique access requirements.
Material : 1/4" (6 mm) steel cover and frame
Hinges : Heavy forged brass hinges with 3/8" (9 mm) type 316 stainless steel hinge pins.
Latch : Type 316 stainless steel slam lock with fixed interior handle and removable exterior turn/lift handle. Latch release is protected by a flush, gasketed, removable screw plug.
Lift Assistance : Compression spring operators enclosed in telescopic tubes. Automatic hold-open arm with grip handle release.
Finish : Alkyd base red oxide primer
