When it comes to providing egress from underground rapid transit system platforms and tunnels in emergencies, our ADC-JD-AL Aluminum Double Leaf Drainage Door is the right investment.
This door model has a 1/4" aluminum cover and an extruded aluminum channel frame with bend down anchor tabs around the perimeter. It also comes with a 1-1/2" (38mm) drain coupling, welded under the frame for a pipe connection to a dry well or disposal system. Its cover has a diamond-pattern tread plate reinforced for 300 psf (1464 kg/m2) live load. Moreover, the ADC-JD-AL has heavy-duty construction and a positive latching mechanism to prevent unauthorized access.
It also features a frame with an extruded aluminum channel with bend down anchor tabs around the perimeter. The slam lock is a type 316 stainless steel with a fixed interior handle and removable exterior turn/lift handle. Also, the latch release is fully-protected by a flush, gasketed, removable screw plug. There are compression spring operators surrounded in telescopic tubes.
