To assist with fire safety in commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities, Access Doors Canada recommends our fire rated access doors. Our accessible door units come with the additional benefit of a recessed installation in walls. For drywall walls, we have access panels with a fire rating of up to 60 to 90 minutes. 

We can also provide you with fire rated non-insulated recessed doors for tile walls in sizes 12” x 12”, 18” x 18”, and 24” x 24”. 

FB-5060-TD is recessed for tile 1/2" and lined with self-furring lath. This fire protection door is approved by Underwriters Laboratories (UL) for 1 1/2 hours "B" label in walls and ULC for 2 hours "B" label in walls. It is designed to maintain continuity in a 2-hour fire barrier wall. 

The FB-5060 should be used whenever it is necessary to provide access to fire-rated walls when temperature rise is not a factor. 

Get this model with a 1 x Universal self-latching bolt, operated by either a knurled knob or flush key. When master keying is required, doors can be prepared for rim or mortise cylinder locks. We also offer popular finishes such as 5 stage iron phosphate preparation with prime coat of White alkyd baked-on enamel.
