10" x 10" Standard Ultra Fire-Rated Access Door
Williams Brothers Canada made the WB-FR standard ultra fire-rated access door as a fire-rated access panel that can be used wherever it is necessary to provide service access to shafts and any other areas requiring a fire-rating. This door is constructed the same as the standard fire-rated access door including a THERMAFIBER® industrial felt insulation for optimal fire protection and superior sound control. Special features of this model include an 18 gauge cold-rolled steel door and trim, a 16 gauge cold-rolled steel box return frame, a 2” thick mineral wool insulation contained within the door cavity, a fully-concealed rod type hinge that allows an opening to 170°, and a self-latching direct-action latch, opposite hinge, ultra Lock with key included with each door. For walls, this door has an Underwriters Laboratories (UL and ULC), 1-1/2 hour “B” label, with a maximum temperature rise of 250 degrees Celsius after 30 minutes for vertical wall installations, and Warnock Hersey International 1 hr rating for combustible floor/ceiling applications, 3 hr rating for non-combustible floor/ceiling assembly.
