The frame and cover of these domed roof hatches are 11 gauge aluminum with a built-in condensation drainage channel. These models also feature a clear polycarbonate dome or double domes that have UV-resistance coating. An extruded EPDM rubber gasket is also permanently adhered to the covers. To ensure weather tightness and energy efficiency, both the cover and curb are fully-insulated. Moreover, this door type comes with compression spring operators enclosed in telescopic tubes for lift assistance and automatic hold-open arm with grip handle release. As for the hinges, the ADC-GS comes with heavy-duty pintle hinges with 3/8" (9 mm) Type 316 stainless steel hinge pins.
