Babcock-Davis' ADC-BSVLA-D features a transparent polycarbonate cover, an 11-gauge aluminum frame, and a 5/8-inch structural multiwall R-3 in white polycarbonate. The curb is a single wall of 11-gauge mill-finished aluminum with an EZ tab counterflash and a mounting flange.

It comes with a 1-inch polyiso R-6 insulation. The vent has a heavy-duty pintle hinge with a stainless-steel hinge pin and a smooth gas spring damper that opens against a 10 psf snow load. The zinc-plated steel hold-open arm locks the cover in the open position, providing a bouncer for daylight.
